WHAT I AM MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO:

I am eager to gain advanced skills in the pediatric specialty. I look forward to helping kids strengthen their oral health care, fostering relationships and providing enjoyable and engaging dental visits.

My advice to future students is not to doubt yourself, and you can do amazing things if you put your mind to it and don't let the process intimidate you.

Financially, this support will allow me to pursue my Bachelor of Health Science degree while also helping me pay down student loans. It's a huge step toward building a strong foundation for my dental career, both clinically and academically.

This award was an important motivator throughout my studies, and receiving recognition for all my efforts and hard work has been extremely rewarding. The financial support will help me with relocation to British Columbia and getting set up in a new city.

I'm most excited to begin providing dental hygiene care to the people of Vernon and, through that work, build meaningful connections with members of the community.

Anyone who is eligible to apply for this award should do so. This award pushed me to study hard, get out of my comfort zone and involve myself in extracurricular activities, which will benefit you no matter if you get the award or not.
