    Guy has a robust background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and strategic commercial transactions. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law and an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Dr. Douglas Brothwell

    Dr. Doug Brothwell is Dean, College of Dentistry and Professor, Dental Public Health at the University of Saskatchewan. He earned his D.M.D. and B. Ed. degrees from the University of Saskatchewan in 1984 and 1994, respectively. Following nine years as a general practitioner,

    Dr. Brothwell completed Dental Public Health specialty training in 1999 with M.Sc. and D.D.P.H. degrees from the University of Toronto. In 2006 he completed a certificate in quality management (C.Q.M.) at the University of Manitoba where he spent 18-years as a full-time faculty member, including eight years as Associate Dean (Academic).

    Dr. Brothwell’s professional roles have included President of the Canadian Association of Public Health Dentistry, and Chair of the Canadian Dental Association ‘Seal of Recognition’ program. He spent 11 years as Director of the Centre for Community Oral Health, where he established a network of more than 50 dental clinics serving special-needs patients.

    Dr. Brothwell’s research interests address four main areas: health status of underserved populations, the relationship between oral and general health, smoking cessation services to improve periodontitis, and manual dexterity testing for admissions to dental school.

Dr. Benjamin Davis

    Dr. Ben Davis completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry of Western Ontario in 1992. He received his diploma in oral and maxillofacial surgery and anesthesia from the University of Toronto in 1997, followed by a surgical fellowship in the teaching hospitals affiliated with Dalhousie University.

    Following his role as Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Sciences, Dr. Davis was appointed the Dean of Dentistry of Dalhousie University in January, 2018. He is a Fellow of and Examiner in Chief for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He previously served as President of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Canadian Dental Society of Anesthesia and the Nova Scotia Dental Specialist Society.

    He is committed to educating students to become the best oral health care providers possible. He has presented numerous academic papers and continuing education lectures around the world. He also serves on the editorial boards of several international journals. Dr. Davis’ research interests principally involve topics related to anesthesia and TMJ reconstruction. He is well published and has spoken extensively on topics related to facial trauma, TMJ reconstruction and anesthesia.

    Dr. Davis is described as an excellent teacher, surgeon, author, administrator, volunteer and humanitarian. He is recognized as someone who strives for the highest standards possible in all aspects of his work to ensure the best care for patients.

Dr. Bertha Garcia

    Dr. Garcia received her medical degree from the Cayetano Heredia University in Peru in 1972, and completed her residency training in general and anatomical pathology from the University of Calgary in 1981 where she was appointed as faculty member. She joined the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, Western University in 1985, and held the role of Chair and City-Wide Chief for the Department and London Hospitals from 2001 to 2011. Dr. Garcia also held the role of Vice Dean, Education at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry from 2008 to 2017. In June of last year, Dr. Garcia took on the role of Acting Vice Dean & Executive Director, Schulich Dentistry.

    Dr. Garcia is recognized as an exceptional educator with an extraordinary passion for medical education. She has received numerous local and national education awards in recognition of her leadership in medical education including the Dean's Award of Excellence in Teaching from Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, the Edward G. Pleva Award from Western University, and the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA) citation for outstanding contribution to University teaching. She is also the recipient of the prestigious 3M Teaching Fellowship, which is given to individuals who demonstrate an exceptionally high degree of leadership and commitment to the improvement of university education across disciplines.

    Most recently, Dr. Garcia was a recipient of the 2018 Leader in Education Award from the Canadian Association of Pathologists and the 2019 YMCA Women of Excellence Award in recognition of her significant impact as a medical educator, clinical leader, and mentor.

Dr. Gary Glassman

    Dr. Glassman helps facilitate dentalcorp’s continued growth ambitions and champions programs to support the dentalcorp Practice Community in the delivery of optimal patient care.

    Dr. Glassman is a world-renowned Endodontist, full-time practicing dentist, global lecturer, and is on staff at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. The author of numerous publications, Dr. Glassman is the Endodontic editor for Oral Health Journal.

    He graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry and was awarded the James B. Willmott Scholarship, the Mosby Scholarship and the George Hare Endodontic Scholarship for proficiency in Endodontics. A graduate of the Endodontology Program at Temple University, he received the Louis I. Grossman Study Club Award for academic and clinical proficiency in Endodontics.

    Dr. Glassman serves as Faculty Chair of DC Institute, a continuing education provider that supports the growth and development of dental care professionals through elevated learning experiences.
